CRUEL thieves have stolen a charity box believed to have almost £50 in it from Crewkerne Pharmacy.
The incident happened last week and CCTV footage has been passed on to the police.
The pharmacy team had been collecting money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and they are making a collective donation of £65 to the charity to cover the theft of the box.
Pharmacy manager Andy McKee said: “We are deeply saddened that someone would steal a charity box.
“The team all pulled together to make up the stolen money out of their own pockets.
“Make-A-Wish is a really special charity and it's great that we can contribute to granting more magical wishes to deserving children and young people.”
