THERE is still time to have a say about draft plans to help shape autism services in Somerset.

The Somerset Autism Strategy outlines how services will be delivered and improved in future.

It covers increasing awareness of autism, training and development, improving access to services and ways to improve how the county council, the Clinical Commissioning Group and the Somerset Partnership work with people with autism, and their carers.

Consultation results, with feedback from service users and interested parties, will help finalise the strategy, which will be published in spring, 2015 – the consultation ends on October 12.
