AN internet craze called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is sweeping across the country...and we want you to send us your attempts.

The Mayor of Chard has joined a list of A-list celebrities and business leaders drenching themselves in buckets of ice and water, all to raise awareness of motor neurone disease (also known as AIS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease), which affects around 5,000 people in the UK.

The Mayor's husband Andy Kenton can be seen pouring freezing cold water from the roof of their house.

The idea is that after you have endured several seconds of icy pain, you then nominate up to three more people to undergo the same public humiliation.

More than £48million has been raised by the craze. ICED55 followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070.
