SUN lovers in Chard and Ilminster can expect a return to summer next week.
Following a damp August, weather bosses are predicting one last blast of summer, thanks to Hurricane Christobal which has created an area of high pressure over the UK as it moves across the Atlantic.
But before your stock up on the sun cream, the region will have to endure wet and windy weekend and forecasters expect the warmer weather to reach us by Tuesday.
Temperatures will rise above 20C and the glorious sunshine is expected to last for around a week.
