TRAFFIC is moving slow on the A303 today following a crash this morning (September 1).
The incident happened between South Petherton and the Southfields Roundabout at around 10.30am and involved two vehicles - a Ford Transit van and Shogun.
One man in his 50s was trapped in one of the vehicles and it was initially thought he has suffered life changing injuries.
Since the crash, paramedics have said his injuries are not as serious as first thought but he was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
A horse box was involved in the collision and two horses were sedated at the scene but it is unclear whether they were hurt.
