A FIRE started in the chimney of a property near Ilminster last night (September 14).
Fire crews from Yeovil and Ilminster attended the incident, in Water Street, Seavington St Michael, at around 7pm.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival crews got to work with chimney gear from the hearth and one hose reel jet to damp down the roof as a precaution.
"Crews checked that the property was safe and left duty of care with the owner."
