FIRE crews were called out to reports of smoke issuing from a large container this evening (Thursday, September 18).
On arrival at the incident in Tapstone Road, Chard, at 8.26pm, they isolated the electrical supply to the sealed 20ft storage facility.
After opening the container, they discovered the contents destroyed, although the fire had already been extinguished.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been an electrical fault.
