SOME of Holyrood Academy’s newest recruits are settling into life as they use the facilities in their learning centre.
Students are encouraged to use the computers, borrow books, play board games including chess and mah jong, or use the area as a place to relax and read the papers.
Jane Edge and her team are devising ways to inspire creativity and literary skills, from competitions to appointing student librarians, the centre is for nurturing, caring and motivating Holyrood students.
