STAFF at an opticians in Chard baked up a feast for their customers to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Customers were treated to cakes and biscuits, with staff donning their aprons in support of the national World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The store sold the treats and raised money throughout the week.
Store director Stephen Watson said: “It was great to see so many local faces in the store on the day.
“Customers were able to attend their eye examination and pick up a ‘cuppa’ and cake afterwards, all in the knowledge it was for a great cause.
“It’s so important for staff to get involved in these sorts of things and do their bit for a special cause on behalf of Specsavers.”
