THE Oak Lodge Nursing Home in Chard had its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday – but with a few special guests.
As well as stalls selling plenty of Christmas presents and food, reindeer also went along to entertain residents and guests.
The day was to raise money for a minibus to take residents out on trips and more than £330 was raised.
Senior ativities co-ordinatior Gemma Jones said: “It was a really good day, we had a great turn-out of people and everyone loved the reindeer.
“Thank you to everyone who came along and to everyone who donated.
“The campaign to buy a minibus is ongoing but events like this and donations people make are all starting to add up.”
