AN EVENING of festive fun was held at Ilminster’s Monks Yard on Saturday evening.
The free event had plenty for visitors to see and do including performances from The Rivertones and the MCF Puppet team.
There were plenty of activities for children to enjoy and Santa was also there in his grotto ready to take any last-minute present requests.
Dean Holling from Monks Yard said: “It was a really great evening and we had a great turn-out.
“The Rivertones were really popular, people were singing along and the children loved seeing Santa in his grotto.
“The best bit for us was the community involvement – we had lots of volunteers as well as guests and I think it really helped people get into the festive spirit.”
