British Red Cross appeal for volunteers to help during Red Cross Week (May 3-9)
THE British Red Cross hold their annual Red Cross Week from May 3-9.
Collections will be taking place throughout Somerset's towns and villages during the week and The British Red Cross are appealing for volunteers to help collect and spare a couple of hours to raise vital funds for the charity.
Money raised on will go towards Red Cross services, such as the transport and escort service, which helps people travel to vital medical appointments and the wheelchair loan service for people who have lost their mobility due to accidents or illness.
