THE inquest into the death of a teenage girl who died after she became trapped in a car that veered off a country road and plunged into the River Parrett has been adjourned indefinitely.
19-year-old Katie Ann Bagwell from South Petherton was the front seat passenger in the Fiat Punto which left the road near Martock.
The indefinite adjournment comes after the jailing of Craig Paul Chant, aged 21 of York Close, Yate, Bristol. He pleaded guilty to causing death without due care while under the influence of alcohol.
