Ilminster Lions hand over bumper donation
FUNDRAISING members of the hard-working Ilminster Lions group have had a big thank you from staff at the Beacon Centre in Taunton.
The Lions club – who works throughout the year raising money for various charities – has presented a bumper £3,000 cheque to the Beacon Centre which is based at Musgrove Park Hospital.
A Beacon Centre spokesman said: “We would like to thank the Ilminster Lions for their very generous donation – it is very much appreciated.”
