PROCESSION: Council chairmen, councillors and guests follow Father Jeff Williams to the Civic Service
THE Mayor of Chard, Cllr Dave Bulmer, held his Civic Service on Sunday (August 23, 2015) at St Mary’s Church in Chard.
Dignitaries from around the region converged on Chard for the annual service which is hosted each year by the Mayor.
A procession of visiting Mayors and their consorts, as well as council chairmen and councillors, plus guests, made its way from the Guildhall to the church for the service with the Cllr Bulmer’s Mayor’s Chaplain, Father Jeff Williams, leading the way.
