Chard road to be ropened for carnival
A road closure in Chard will be lifted this weekend so the town's carnival celebrations can take place unhindered.
The work is to upgrade the existing pipework and install additional gullies on the A358 Old Town and Church Street, with the narrow width of the road meaning a full road closure was required.
Work resumes on Monday.
