RAIN and heavy showers are set to dampen Chard and Ilminster throughout today.
In their South West summary, Met Office said: "It will generally be rather cloudy for today with some showery rain at times, though there will be some drier and brighter spells developing too."
The maximum temperature is set to reach around 11°C, before falling to a minimum temperature of 8°C overnight.
The weather forecast for tomorrow said: "Generally cloudy with some light rain at times.
"Rather windy in the morning with a risk of gales along the coast, though these will be easing throughout the day."
The temperature is set to peak at around 13°C.
In travel news, the Chard and Ilminster area is looking mostly clear.
