CHARD and Ilminster set to avoid the rain for the next two days, with cloudy and overcast conditions forecast.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "It will be a mostly cloudy day with a few patches of rain and drizzle at times.
"Into the afternoon some cloud breaks may develop, allowing for some brighter spells. Temperatures will once again be mild."
The maximum temperature is due to reach around 14°C, before falling to a minimum temperature of 10°C overnight.
In the forecast for tomorrow it said: "Another cloudy day on Wednesday with outbreaks of drizzle but becoming mostly dry with the odd brighter spell later."
The temperature is due to peak at 13°C.
In travel news, the roads are looking mostly clear, with an accident on M5 Junction 25 set to affect people travelling north of Ilminster.
