ELECTRICITY has now been restored to all 900 homes following a 10-hour powercut.
Hundreds of residents reported that they had lost power to Western Power Distribution at around 2.20pm yesterday.
The power cut mainly affected homes in Chard and South Chard.
The majority of homes were restored within a couple of hours, but 150 were still left without power.
It took engineers until after midnight to restore all of the power.
All customers affected by the #powercut in #Chard #TA20 - #DT6 now have their supply restored. Our apologies for any inconvenience. David.
