A FISH and chips shop in Ilminster has raised £2,500 for Musgrove Park Hospital's neo-natal unit.
Owners of West Street Fish & Chips Dean and Michele Harrop raised the money over 14 months through raffles, tombolas and donation.
Dean and Michele's granddaughter Melissa was born 12 weeks early and weighed just 2lbs and 4oz in November 2014.
Michele Harrop said: "She spent two and a half months in Musgrove Park Hospital's neo-natal unit and this is our way of trying to give something back for all the fantastic care they gave Melissa.
Michele and Dean presented the cheque for £2,400 to Sue Fulker, Somerset Neonatal Intensive Care Unit manager.
