EARLY morning showers are set to give way to some sunshine this afternoon across Somerset.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "A wet start. but with cloud and rain clearing early to leave a dry day with frequent sunny spells.
"It'll be fairly breezy too, especially over hills, and feel noticeably cooler than yesterday."
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 18C, before falling to a minimum of 11C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Feeling fresh on Friday, but with widespread sunny spells and continued scattered showers. Winds will continue to ease through the day."
The temperature is set to peak at 17C.
