TWO fire engines were rushed to a chimney fire in Chardstock last night after fires the flames could spread to the wood shingle roof.
Pumping appliances from Chard and Axminster were sent to the scene in Eggmoor Lane shortly before 7.15pm yesterday (October 20).
On arrival it was found that the fire had burned out safely.
The crews made an inspection for hotspots before leaving the scene with the property owners shortly before 7.45pm.
