A FLOWER festival with the theme celebrations' will be held at St Mary's Church in Norton-sub-Hamdon from June 30 to July 1.
It is part of the Norton church's 500th anniversary milestone celebrations. It is free admission to the festival, which will be open from 10am to 6pm, and there will be refreshments available.
On the Saturday evening, at 7pm, there will be the summer concert of the South Somerset Youth Orchestra and Choir in Norton Village Hall - which will include Lord Paddy Ashdown narrating Peter and the Wolf.
Tickets for the concert are adults £5 and free for children. These are available from the Spar shop in Norton or from Cilla Caswell on 01935-881782.
The weekend will conclude with a service of Evensong in the church at 6.30 pm.
