A CHARD children’s theatre group brought a taste of Asia to the town as well as a mysterious murder with two recent events.
Chard Local Kids Society (CLOKS) held a Bollywood themed Easter workshop in Combe St Nicholas last Thursday.
Children were taught some Indian dancing in preparation for a summer production of Jungle Book and Back To The Jungle written by Maria and Jonathan Farey.
The dancing was led by local zumba teacher Elena.
Members of the committee also recently held a murder mystery night in Combe St Nicholas village hall.
The production was titled Let Sleeping Frogs Die.
Gloria Johnson, one of the group’s members, said: “We also held a raffle and a prize for the best dressed table. The prize for the table who quessed ‘Whodunnit’ went to Emily Davis.”
