HIGHWAYS England says the motorway is now back to normal after the crash was cleared.
*THREE ambulances attended the incident and two casualties were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton with head and leg injuries.
Highways England now says just one lane remains closed, with delays down to 30 minutes and traffic is expected to be back to normal by 11.30am or 11.45am.
*THERE are long tailbacks on the M5 after a four-vehicle crash just before Junction 25.
AVON and Somerset Police were called at 8.47am and there is believed to be a spillage on the carriageway.
Lanes one and two were closed southbound between North Petherton and Taunton but now one lane has been reopened.
A spokesman said there are currently delays of 40 minutes and normal conditions are expected to return to normal by 10.15am or 10.30am.
According to Highways England map, traffic is not moving currently between those junctions.
We've opened up another lane, and now only 1 lane is closed on the #M5 southbound between J24 and J25. Long delays back to J24 on approach.
