Wintry showers have caused havoc for motorists caught up in a series of crashes on the M5.
Downpours of hail in parts of Somerset have affected the motorway, resulting in three crashes.
We've cleared some of the collisions on the #M5 in #Somerset and delays in both directions are starting the ease. We still have 1 lane closed each way between J23 and J22.

Two lanes of the M5 southbound have been closed between junction 22 for Burnham-on-Sea and junction 23 for Bridgwater.
Traffic is also slow northbound.
The Highways Agency said on twitter they have received reports of crashes at three separate locations.
