CHRISTMAS is going to be a very special occasion at the Octagon Theatre this year as Pantoni Pantomimes celebrates its 21st anniversary production at the theatre with the ever-popular tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.
The uniquely talented, Ben Langley, has been asked to return to the Octagon Theatre for a fifth year, after wowing audiences with his portrayal of Buttons in last year's Cinderella. This hilarious comedian has an outstanding rapport with both children and parents alike from the moment he walks on stage and has become somewhat of an Octagon treasure!
The Octagon Theatre is also privileged to play host to major pantomime player, Bobby Bennett, in the role of Dame Trott. During his seasoned career treading the boards, Bobby has performed with such stars as Richard Briers, Russ Abbott, Max Bygraves and the late, great, Les Dawson. He looks forward to celebrating his 50th professional pantomime production here in Yeovil.
Charlotte Milchard received critical acclaim for her portrayal of the Wicked Queen in the record-breaking production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Octagon two years ago and so is delighted to return as the villainous Malevola, the Giant's Housekeeper. Rest assured spines will be well and truly chilled!
The panto will run at the Octagon from December 14 to January 5.
