Tough times for Yeovil Town's new League One rivals Leicester City

THE "big" club to have fallen from grace and are now allowing it to sink in that they will be facing Yeovil Town and League One football next season are Leicester City.

The Foxes suffered a disastrous season in the Championship and are now trying to make the re-adjustments for life in League One.

The club's chairman Milan Mandaric, formerly of Portsmouth, has told Sky Sports News that he hopes to make a decision over manager Ian Holloway's future by the beginning of June.

Holloway, who joined Leicester midway through the season after leaving Yeovil's close neighbours Plymouth Argyle, could be facing the axe following his terrible record since arriving at the Walkers Stadium.

But the delay in any announcement about Holloway is down to Mr Mandaric's desire to make the right decision and do "what is best for the club."

"I am not even giving total support to myself," he said.

"Am I a good chairman or not? It starts with me, and then goes all the way down - including the manager.

"I think I am entitled to look at that. I am in the firing line, I am responsible.

"I am the one who is going to support the club financially so I will do what is best for the club - not necessarily for Ian Holloway or Milan Mandaric.

"I am looking to make a decision no later than the first or second week of June. You need to give the manager time to review their staff and players. A total reorganisation of the club."

The other two Championship clubs to have suffered relegation are Scunthorpe United and Colchester United - both of whom only achieved promotion during Yeovil's present three-season tenure in League One.
