AN author from near Glastonbury recently produced her second book based on her and her partner's 20-month stay on a remote island.
'Island to Island Photograph Collection', by Sally Mills, from Godney, follows her debut novel Island to Island published last August.
The couple lived on Aride, in the Seychelles, with six other inhabitants and some rare animals.
The sequel contains 180 colour and black-and-white pictures of their time on the island, as well as extracts of text from the novel to go with each image.
It is being published on August 22, with a launch event in the Sheppey Inn, Godney, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on August 27.
Sally Mills will make a contribution from every book sold to St Kentigern Hospice, which cared for her late father.
Story by Esther Davies, on work experience.
