ONE of the youngest winners at the Pride of Somerset Youth Awards was seven-year-old Billy Marshall, from Burnham.
He has shown maturity beyond his years to care for his mum, Paula, who is affected by blackouts due to epilepsy.
Despite his tender years, Billy is skilled at calling for an ambulance if needed and always sits with his mum to comfort her while help is on its way.
He’s also had to deal with his parents separating.
His proud mum, who nominated him for this award said: “Billy gets very upset and worried, and I feel he is very brave and good with me.”
