SOPHIE Evans received a highly commended certificate for her leading role in a youth project in her home of Norton Fitzwarren.
She is involved in the local youth music scene and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, delivering leaflets or clearing tables to help out at events.
She is also helping influence the multi-million pound Museum for Somerset project at Taunton Castle to make it as young-person friendly as possible.
Sophie, 17, is described as always willing to help others, always keen to be involved, and an excellent role model for young people in Norton Fitzwarren and beyond.
