“HE embodies the attitude that makes our world a better place,” – that’s how Minehead Middle School pupil Mason Hawker describes his classmate and youth award winner Mathew Short.
Mathew, 11, enjoys helping Mason, who has cerebral palsy.
Mason has been a wheelchair user all his life and Mathew helps him around school, pushing the chair, opening doors and helping at lunchtimes.
