PARTS of Curry Rivel are without water this morning following a burst main.
Wessex Water is attempting to get supplies up and running again this morning, but the company's efforts are being hampered by the weather.
Wessex Water spokesman Ian Drury said: "We had reports of a burst to the water main that feeds Curry Rivel after 5am this morning.
"We have found the location and are carrying out repairs as quickly as possible.
"In the mean time, we are trying to supply water to residents from another source, alhtough that is proving quite challenging because of the road conditions, which make it difficult getting the necessary equipment in place.
"All being well, by late morning customers should have their water supply back."
