Children learn more about the police

PCSO Beth Poole visited Castle Cary Primary School's reception class to talk to them as part of their curriculum about People Who Help Us.

The children learned about the role of the police and PCSOs in helping to keep people and their property safe.

The children also learned about the police uniform and how the equipment they carry can help them to do their job.

Afterwards, they created a display in the classroom about the different people they had learned about including the police, Fire Service, school crossing patrol and school secretary.
