THERE are just over 24 hours to go before the gates open for visitors to start arriving for tomorrow's Air Day at RNAS Yeovilton - which will be celebrating 100 years of Naval Aviation.
An estimated crowd of around 35,000 people is expected to descend on the air base for this ever-popular show.
And as well as an exciting and exhilarating six-hour flying display, there will be a whole host of other activities for people to enjoy.
This website will be running a whole host of stories and reports throughout today (Friday) in the build-up to Air Day '09.
This website will be updated with Air Day news tomorrow on the hour from 8am to 10pm - so keep checking the news section of this website at www.yeovilexpress.co.uk .
And if you are going to Air Day '09 send us your photos. We might be able to publish some of them in next week's Yeovil Express newspaper - but they will all appear on this website throughout the week.
The Express will have its own photographers at the show and their photos will be appearing on this website on Monday morning. So keep checking www.yeovilexpress.co.uk .
If you would like to send us your Air Day photos - click on the link in our "related articles" section to find out how you can send them to us.
