AS Wendy Waters has just discovered, the St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice shop in Sherborne is more than just a charity shop - it also offers a well established ladies hat hiring facility.

With over 100 different hat and fascinator designs to choose from, this facility offers the local community a cost effective way of adding ‘that special touch’ to an outfit, without having to go to the expense of purchasing a hat outright.

Wendy, a recent St Margaret’s hat hire customer, said: “I was delighted to find this fascinator hat as originally I had no intention of wearing a wedding hat but it really made a statement.

"I will certainly be visiting St Margaret’s Hat Hire again – the selection and quality of styles was impressive and the actual hat hire was very cost effective.”

Hats can be hired from just £20 with an additional refundable £20 deposit upon the safe return of the hat.

All the hats available to hire have been donated to St Margaret’s and are in excellent condition with most having only been worn once or twice.
