THE Gap Year is back! This year the groundbreaking reality TV show will follow five lucky Bebo users on an unforgettable journey to the adventure capital of the world - New Zealand.
Twenty-two year old model Kimberley Marren, from Yeovil, has been hand picked from hundreds of applicants to become the first finalist to take part in The Gap Year: Challenge New Zealand.
Over four-action packed weeks in November, the blonde bombshell will join four other intrepid travellers as they explore breath-taking landscapes, discover Kiwi culture, and take on some of the country’s most extreme challenges.
On hearing the exciting news Kimberley said: “To be able to travel to New Zealand and take part in tons of extreme sports, meet new people and go on an adventure will be truly amazing.”
The aspiring presenter added: “I never stop talking, I laugh all the time and sometimes when I shouldn’t. I can give inspiration to people in a way that they can believe that anything is possible in life.”
The blonde beauty describes herself as “cute, crazy and caring” and admits she’s scared of “humans, space and deep dark water I can’t see beneath.”
Users will be in for a real treat as every weekday Kimberley and the other travellers will post short videos on The Gap Year homepage documenting their amazing adventures in New Zealand. The Gap Year fans will also be able to keep up to date via their Twitter and Facebook updates.
During Kimberley’s stay in New Zealand, she’ll take part in a series of incredible challenges to determine the ultimate gap year traveller. Each week one traveller will be sent home, leaving just two for the final week and one eventual winner.
New Zealand is the birthplace of the bungee jump, the jet boat, and the zorb – making the country the ultimate destination to go all the way for a gap year adventure.
