THE Piers Simon Appeal is looking for volunteers to help with its collection in the Quedam Centre later this month during the switching-on of the festive lights in Yeovil.

The PSA – formed following the death of former Yeovil student Piers Simon in the Asian tsunami of 2004 – has been given permission to collect in the Quedam on Thursday, November 26.

Now PSA organisers are looking for volunteers to rattle the tins between 4.30pm and 8.30pm.
