Harriet to meet with council over youth club plans

A YOUNG volunteer working with Somerset Rural Youth Project is looking at forming a new youth club in her community in Yeovil.

Harriet French, who lives on the Abbey Manor estate in Yeovil, has already gained the support of other young people in her neighbourhood, as well as South Somerset District Council, Brympton Parish Council and local police officers PC Jackie Poole and PCSO Graham Phiminster.

Throughout the summer Harriet compiled and distributed a questionnaire for young people living around Oak Tree Park.

Harriet will be giving a presentation to members of Brympton Parish Council at its meeting on Wednesday (Nov 25).
