YEOVIL MP David Laws will this morning receive a petition from families across his constituency protesting against draft legislation regulating home education.
The group presenting the petition claim that the Children and Families Bill will “result in local authority employees having a right to enter law abiding home educators’ homes and interview children without their parents present.”
Families will present him with the petition at the Crewkerne Community Office at the Town Hall in Crewkerne this morning at 10.30am.
