DUNSTER Castle got a royal seal of approval for its education programme this week.
Castle property manager William Wake and learning officer Jim Lee were presented with the Sandford Award for Education by HRH Edward, Earl of Wessex, at an event in Windsor Castle on Monday.
It's the second time that the National Trust's Dunster Castle has received the award from the Heritage Education Trust.
Mr Lee said: “This means a great deal to the team here at the castle.
“We have excellent relationships will local schools and colleges and pride ourselves on our ongoing work with them.”
The Castle's Living History Tours were given special mention.
Award judge Carolyn Wheeler said: “Dunster is a gem in the National Trust crown.”
