STUDENT Sam Nicholson got on his bike for the 66-mile Jurassic Beast bike ride last Sunday along the Dorset coast.
Sam, 15, raised funds for the Raw Foundation charity -a sustainable development organisation which works with young people to build an ‘environmentally sound, socially just and economically viable future.’ The charity’s Raw Blue campaign is working to reduce the amount of oil-based plastic in the environment by raising awareness of the extent of plastic pollution and its impacts on humans, animals and the environment.
Sam, who attends Stanchester Academy at Stoke-sub-Hamdon, said: “I am really passionate about two things – cycling and the environment.”
