Blackdown Hills bat survey
NATURE lovers in the Blackdown Hills are being encouraged to take part in a big bat survey this week.
The Somerset Environmental Records Centre and Somerset Bat Group are running the survey for enthusiasts to help experts analyse a wide variety of bat species across the area.
The event is at Churchinford Cricket Club tomorrow (July 20) at 7.30pm to 11.30pm and is free but places are limited. Spots can be booked on|01823-664450.
