THERE are concerns that a road serving the possible development at Shudrick Valley in Ilminster could become a rat run.
People are convinced a road from Shudrick Lane to Townsend would act as a relief road for motorists, but South Somerset District Council planning policy officer Jo Manley denied it would be a relief road.
She said: “It would be a residential road, but we would make it so it wouldn’t be desirable to use.”
