Do you recognise any faces in this 1940s photo of Chard?
MISS D E Roylance, 97, of Swadlincote in Derbyshire sent in this photo of when she was a Queen’s District Nurse in Chard from 1943 to 1948.
When she was going through some old and cherished photos at home she came across this picture of a Christmas party of mothers and children who came to a Child Welfare Clinic in the town at the time.
Miss Roylance said that she can still recollect many of the names and all the faces and thought that many of the mothers there might like to see the photo.
