A MONGREL who should be on her last legs, has won a place in the finals of the RSPCA's Dog of the Year show.
Abandoned Bella, 13, of Sandpiperway, Orpington, performed impressive tricks, including weaving in and out of her owners' legs, to beat dogs half her age, in the Kent regional heats.
Proud owner of the crossbred Jack Russell and Border Collie, Debbie Fischer, 40, is hoping to walk away with a year's supply of dog food and a trophy from the final at Millbrook Animal Centre, in Chobham, Surrey, on Sunday, September 2.
