DESPITE days of rumours that the newspaper had dropped the feature, page three of The Sun today pictures a topless model.
The feature has been around for 44-years but recently it has come underfire from No More Page Three campaigners who protest under the slogan "News not boobs".
We asked the people of Somerset what they thought about the long-running feature.
Rhs James said: "I don't read The Sun, but I don't think Page 3 is really news, so I can't see why it should be in the newspaper."
Jill Harris and Janet Weddon said: "Page 3 of The Sun is outdated. You don't need the newspaper to show you any more - all you have to do is switch on a computer and it's all there."
Mike Marshall said: "I think it's a shame that people think it's a big deal. I don't think people really buy it for that, more for the sport."
Anita Nicholls said: "I think it's a good thing if they are going to get rid of it. You don't need that in a newspaper."
