A MUM from Highbridge who went on the run with her three-year-old son will not be jailed after her former partner dropped legal proceedings.
Rebecca Minnock breached court orders by fleeing from her home on May 27 with her three-year-old son Ethan after a court ruled he should live with his father Roger Williams.
She eventually handed herself into police in the Oxford area after 17 days on the run, and Mr Williams said he wished to pursue the 35-year-old for breaching orders made during the custody battle.
But at Bristol Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday), his barrister told Judge Stephen Wildblood QC, that he wished to drop the application and "draw a line".
