Businesses are being warned to be on their guard after scammers confused staff at a Somerset store and walked away with £100.

The warning comes after two men entered to Co-op store on Stilby Rd, Yeovil and after buying a few items they requested to change money they have into smaller denominations.

They then continued to change their minds as to how they want the money, which has confused the member of staff.  In the confusion they managed to obtain an extra £100 from the staff member and left.

They are being described as two olive skinned men.  One is of a slim build with very dark short hair and clean shaven.  He was wearing a long sleeved dark coloured top, trousers with a belt and shoes.  He also had a silver type watch on his left wrist.

The other man is of a larger build, clean shaven and short mousey brown hair.  He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark trainers.

This may be part of a series of similar offences believed to be committed by a Romanian organised group of criminals.

The CCTV images shows the men who we believe might have some information which can help our enquiries.

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers immediately please, quoting reference 52937/15.
