Despite rumours that tickets would go on sale on the Dismaland website at noon today, Banksy fans are STILL waiting for their chance to secure a slot.

This could mean that the only way into the alternative theme park at Weston-Super-Mare's Tropicana is by queueing up at the site.

With the rain not looking likely to clear today, visitors will have another soggy wait in store for them.

A statement on the Dismaland website read: "The on-line ticketing system will be open on Tuesday August 25 from 12 noon at www.dismaland.co.uk when you will be able to purchase tickets for that evening's session (7-11pm) and the next seven days.

"Thank you for your patience. Entry into the park on Monday is on a walk up basis and cash only."

After the site crashed on Friday, people took to the internet in force to accuse the whole set up of being a hoax.

Organiser however have slammed these claims, denying anything to do with a hoax and simply stating that the website could not cope with the volume of traffic it received.

The technical problems were supposed to have been fixed over the weekend.

Admission costs £3 each, and is free for under-fives.

Come along and enjoy Somerset's most dismally brilliant attraction.
